We are pleased to enter into a formal Memorandum of Understanding with Bellingen Shire Council as of June 2011. The MOU formalises our long-running relationship with council.
“Our organisations have worked on a vast number of cooperative projects since the inception of Bellingen Urban Landcare in 1995. From our first site at Bellingen (Market) Park the group has expanded throughout both north and south Bellingen. Our success would not have been possible without the cooperation between the two organisations,” said Bellingen Urban Landcare’s Chairperson, Steve Coates.
Mayor Mark Troy: “Council really values the enormous contribution the group and its volunteers have made and continue to make on Council’s land for the benefit of the environment and future generations”.
